Pros
When it comes to a career that still has a majority of locations operate in a mall setting, this one can be an enjoyable place to come to work each day, if you know how to sell efficiently and know how to help make the day go by, with things to do to stay busy. It is also a rewarding career, when you learn to fit and care for people effectively, and create long lasting relationships.
Cons
There can be a lot of metrics and numbers to juggle, which can lead to a misunderstanding of the job. As much as we are here to service others, the job can, at times, feel like a number needs to be chased or a certain metric must be heavily focused on, for little more reason than to say we hit said number. Time off isn't impossible, but must be given heavy preparations, in terms of having your store properly staffed and trained. Much of the expectations of hiring fall unto your shoulders, and therefore, so does making sure you can get the time away you want. Finally, it would be nice to see more leadership in the higher supervisor roles, to allow them more time with management to further and more effectively coach and correct concerns.
