Pros
- good instructors that can bring new pilots without 135 expirence to a expected level to act as SIC - 4 days ON and 3 days OFF - you can work hard days - excellent airplanes - professionally run - dispatch and schedulers are great to balance the pilots, they don't overload people or play favorites. - quick upgrades to capitan and jet pilots.
Cons
There no cons per say, the 135 companies are all in the same boat, so if you want to work here, keep in mind you will have schedules changing, quick turns, a lot of work with customers/clients, a lot of "extras" that you don't learn on flight schools (load baggage, clean airplane, walk customers, prepare the cabin, be a company face to the customers, checkin and checkout passengers, etc.). This is not an airliner, you are expected to plan your trips, weather, file flight plan, weight and balance, paperwork, etc... there is no dispatch for that.
