Pros

Good AI security training, greenfield projects.

Cons

New culture is micromanagement, no discussions. Just "shut up and comply or get out". Layoff culture is adopted: ENTIRE Threat Research team in Ottawa + India laid off, at all levels. EDR software developers laid off. Work moved to USA and Taiwan for life-support with no new feature development. It is an absolute mess. In terms of work-life balance, we work like dogs. FAANG work for medium pay. People used to stay for the culture and mission. Now, there's not much of a reason anymore.

Good people, solid benefits, not very stressful.

Cons

You will never, and I mean never, get a meaningful raise or a promotion at this company. It is a place for coasting, not growing. Leadership cares more about looking like an AI company than anything else.
