Pros
Of course the weekly pay, the perks such as gas reimburstment, good benefits. Above all, getting to care for the residents and working with SOME good, genuine employees.
Cons
Downside was working alone night in night out as the only aide to 35 patients (your typical CNA to patient load should be you to 16-20 pts on avg). Too many empty promises. Felt like I was risking my license every night worked and did not feel safe working in the memory care bldg as the only aide with one nurse. Too many double standards and way too much expected out of you for the little staffing available. High turnover rate, seen very little to none of upper mgmt, some of which came off as shady to me. A full 3 days of a lip marathon to tell all how great this place is but when you get to the floor, its not what it is cut up to be. On top of it, I wasn't even getting paid like that to be doing the ten other things outside my job responsibitlites such as setting tables, pouring up drinks for AM meal, doing laudry. Like if i wanna bus tables, i will gladly get a job at a diner or in dietary. I felt like I was playing Molly Maid every nite either bc afternoon shift or kitchen refused to clean after themselves so if you like doing that and putting up with the mess and then some,this place is for you. Oh did i forget poor communication and lack of concern and ungratefulness that comes from upper mgmt and they dont even follow the "trilogy way" like they claim to so if they're not doing it, don't expect the employees to.
