Pros
My managers are fantastic. Team co-workers are awesome, talented and friendly. Pay is okay. Flexibility when needed.
Cons
Upper management in certain location borders on incompetency. They don’t allow worker bees, the people who actually know how to get the job done, enough room to thrive. The people making the big decisions often have no idea how it all works and disregard advice from those managers who actually do know how it works. They often don't allow for appropriate time and testing on many projects resulting in angry clients and frustrated employees. Sales tends to not understand the products, they just say whatever it takes to make the sale and deal with the fallout later. You will have a harder climb up being a female. There is a lot of negative competition between department locations. Instead of different location teams working together there is a lot of finger pointing when things go wrong. Favorites are often played. Consider yourself lucky if you ever get a pay increase above cost of living.
