Pros

Flexible schedules, a caring work environment, and the opportunity to really make a difference! I’ve worked at Trivera for 2+ years and have never been at a place where my work is so appreciated and valued. I’ve read some of the negative reviews and it hurts to see someone attack the owners in such a malicious and untruthful way. We have several employees who have been here for more than 2 years, so 100% turnover is mathematically impossible. Our owners are the most caring and hard-working people I’ve ever met. Egos? Nope. Sexist? Never. (We have more women than men here.) If you want to work with a team of people who actually work like a team, this is the place for you. If you want to smile on Monday and end each Friday laughing at happy hour with your colleagues and friends, this is the place for you. If you want to work somewhere where your intelligence is valued and you work with really smart people who bring a variety of viewpoints to client challenges in order to get the best possible result, this is the place for you. If you want to feel like you have work/life balance, like your family matters, and like your ideas matter, this is the place for you. We can rearrange our schedules to fit in doctor appointments, parent teacher conferences, and the never-ending cycle of orthodontist appointments. We work from home when the cable guy says he’ll show up sometime between now and never. When my back was bothering me, one of the owners spent an entire day researching new chairs to help make it better (and then bought them for anyone who wanted one). I’ve had several bad jobs and know what it’s like to work somewhere truly awful. Trivera is not that place. I hope anyone reading the negative reviews can recognize that they are mean-spirited and false. This is a great place to work!

Cons

As other reviewers have mentioned, it would be nice to have a 401(k). But I should mention that the owners work really hard at providing a good health insurance policy, which saves me enough money that I can save on my own. As the bad reviews demonstrate, one of the biggest faults of the owners is they are literally too kind! There have been a few times where a bad seed employee has been allowed to stay too long while they tried and tried to help him or her improve. Unfortunately, that seems to have led to feelings of entitlement and a skewed perspective on the former employee regarding their rights as a low-performing “team” member. I know the owners are working to correct this and have really improved their ability to nip problems in the bud, which has only helped the rest of the team feel even better about how awesome Trivera is as an employer.

Pros

I've been working for trivera for 7 years. I left to pursue another opportunity for a short bit, but I love it and came back. CEO and CFO are clearly dedicated to helping their employees grow and reach their full potential, offering constant training and opportunities to be the best.

Cons

Working remotely I miss seeing everyone.

Pros

The culture at Trivera is great. Lots of accountability, flexibility and opportunities to grow. Work hard and play hard. Smart people and mostly great, engaged clients. Leadership is involved and passionate. The tools are provided to complete projects, grow personally and professionally, and embrace the ever-changing digital technology landscape. Awesome office with free parking, free sodas and adult beverages during the weekly happy hour. Company-paid birthday lunches and road trips to local establishments for team bonding. You can even bring your dog to work or work from home regularly. Overall, a great place to work and be part of a work family that cares about each other.

Cons

Like any agency, there's project scope creep on occasion. Management and staff work hard to control and learn from it for future projects. Project-driven approach sometimes leads to ups and downs regarding project pipeline and related revenue, although a renewed approach to a retainer-based model has leveled this out dramatically. Some past staffing issues led to some headaches but the current staff is talented, dedicated and able to deliver. A willingness to try to serve all led to taking on clients that were not a good fit - many have thankfully since been set free. Some would argue not being in downtown Milwaukee is a con, but Trivera leverages its location and once clients come to the office it's no longer an issue. The drive to the Falls can be brutal on occasion but flexible hours make this manageable.
