Pros
Insurance benefits only have $1000 deductible for family (which is good for 2017) and only cost $140 per month.
Cons
They have tried to appear to be more current with their software, but rarely have any of their customers been happy with the product after I have left. The rebranding a couple of years ago from CPSI to Evident was apparently because the company suffered from a poor reputation where the area of being willing to update their software (get rid of DOS, etc) was concerned. They are still using outdated software from the 80's on several applications even now. The number one complaint from customers: "It's too many clicks and takes too much time." This is something you hear at every site you will go to. Doctors see less patients (sometimes substantially less) than they do prior to obtaining CPSI's EMR system. Also, the software is so full of bugs that you will actually spend more time testing the software to have work requests written than you will spend time getting to train your doctors and nurses how to use the software. This company is suffering financially and not willing to hire new employees to replace the employees who are leaving in droves so everyone who is left is expected to pick up the slack and still either get paid their Chinese overtime or be a salaried employee and expected to work 60 or 70 hours per week. Upper management is told to go out of their way to make sure the sites are not told the truth about being short-staffed and not having enough reps to send on site. Even recently, a manager told a rep to lie to a site stating that it was just a "misunderstanding." Lies are common with upper management. This was supposed to have changed with the rebranding from CPSI to Evident, but it's still no different.
