Pros

I picked my own start time schedule. They allow anywhere from 7 am to 9 am start time, 8 hour day with 2-15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch. I came to Trubridge already knowing the Thrive system, so my training was short, and I was able to start with my Team within a week. Full time employees start accruing ETO (earned time off) on the first day, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401K(after 1 year) available after 30 days. Nine paid holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving,Christmas Eve, MLK day. My manager is simply GREAT! She knows her stuff and is very personable, understanding, and professional. Because I was already experienced, my start pay that was offered to me was tremendous and with benefits, can't beat it! If you have self restraint to work from home, this is a great job. They send you the computer, monitor, phone headset(works thru the computer), once you set up, you just call in and they have IT remotely set up your computer for you. Super easy. Make sure that your internet supports VPN (most satellite internet providers DO NOT!). You pretty much bill and followup and sometimes work accounts from reports sent to you by the manager. I truly love this job more than any I've had.

Cons

The team that you are assigned to will provide a site book which you need to learn in order to know what each site you are billing for allows you to do with claims, such as adding or changing information on the claim, account followups, etc. Some site books are several pages long and you need to learn and refer back to it frequently. Remotes only allow Microsoft Office Writer instead of Microsoft word or Excel, it's not very user friendly (only 1 person at a time can use it), email is thru Outlook web, which is limited in settings, it works. Make sure to write everything down, as they expect you to remember after they tell you once, and they will say as much that they've already gone over this.

Communication is important and a common theme we see where we could improve. We are taking your advice and working to come up with better communication tools and set meetings to keep the lines open between in-house and remote staff.

Pros

This is a great place for beginners in the IT space.

Cons

I was a Network Admin II and was paid WELL BELOW the national average. My direct management tree was not forthcoming with teaching. Most of what I learned came from co-workers, or I had to research the answers on my own.
