      Pros

      Great benefits and flexibility, a lot of great coworkers

      Cons

      No transparency - we have been experiencing low work loads for months and been told it’s a software issue not pulling tasks properly, it’s just due to reorganizing responsibilities, not to worry, and then they suddenly did a layoff where a substantial amount of upper management was removed, and the communication to the team has been minimal.

      Pros

      Front-line employees are really great. Everyone seems to be aligned with the mission of helping pet-loving pet-parents care for their dogs and cats. PTO is good and typical schedules are very flexible in most departments. Strong DEI guidelines that were enacted many years ago.

      Cons

      Senior leadership in IT has fallen through the floor in recent years, leading more with intimidation rather than motivation or inspiration, leading to extremely low morale. Just in the first half 2026, there have been about 10 departures from the engineering org. Insurance is fine for employee only, but adding spouse and children gets VERY expensive. Pay is mediocre.
