Pros

Fully remote. You get to talk about pets all day.

Cons

Things used to be great until Margi took over and Darryl stepped down. Now the culture and environment is nothing but a fairy tell. No performance reviews. No cost of living wage increases No wage increases period. In fact, they think they're paying too much and attempt to dock pay to improve their bottom line No communication between departments much less your own department Unqualified ATMs that are on power trips Nepotizm prevents career advancement Management will change your contract as they see fit and tack on additional responsibilities with no extra pay, no guidance on how to compete these additional tasks, and no extra time to get them done. The icing on the cake is hiring a "workforce planning' team that will harass you if you're +-5 minutes out of "compliance" with lunch or breaks. This place will micromanage you to death. Fairly certain that they're just hoping the tenured agents will all quit so the next wave of hirees will come in that they can treat like crap and get away with it.

Pros

Front-line employees are really great. Everyone seems to be aligned with the mission of helping pet-loving pet-parents care for their dogs and cats. PTO is good and typical schedules are very flexible in most departments. Strong DEI guidelines that were enacted many years ago.

Cons

Senior leadership in IT has fallen through the floor in recent years, leading more with intimidation rather than motivation or inspiration, leading to extremely low morale. Just in the first half 2026, there have been about 10 departures from the engineering org. Insurance is fine for employee only, but adding spouse and children gets VERY expensive. Pay is mediocre.
