Pros

Great benefits and you basically get a third check every month with the bonus.

Cons

Terrible communication and transparency. You really have to learn as you go, which is hard with this job. The people who call in can be incredibly abusive. Support is minimal now as they changed how they provide support to call center employees. They do not like coworkers communicating with each other either. Upper management tried to delete our whole team chat so we could not all talk. Changes are made constantly with little to no communication. Everyone hears something different. The job is incredibly isolating. Very hard to move up. Your mental health will suffer here. It used to be better, but clearly the company is struggling and the contact center employees are feeling the weight of bad business decisions.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I very much enjoy the monthly bonus pay as well! The Communications team will be launching an anonymous survey soon to collect employee feedback and encourage your participation to help us continue to improve. The other concerns you mention will be shared with our People Operations department. In the meantime, I encourage you to review our Cigna Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for counseling and emotional well-being resources and check out Viva Engage to see our online communities to help connect you with other employees.

Pros

Very good benefits, especially PTO / Great coworkers with shared "values" (outside of upper mgmt) / Remote Help pets every day

Cons

The co has become another typical corporate greed - no longer cares about customer or staff experience, only the bottom line. Charges premium prices for not so premium insurance, with progressive cut backs in coverage yet continuous policy increases in much too large of percentage (as an employee, I could never afford my own plan). They used to be fantastic, progressive and all-inclusive. Now they keep hide their true behaviors behind a cloak of "transparency" and have lost sight of their own values.
