In my particular department, I was not utilized for my skill set the way I should be. Quickly noticed that management picks favorites and doesn’t follow rules set in the handbook. Any time I had an idea for improvement or innovation, I was quickly shot down. Rules for our job was constantly changing. I spent majority of my time sitting at home with no work, they never offered other work to learn something within the realm of my department. Felt out of place since day one. It’s a shame because this department could be so much more than what it is, but management would rather waste resources instead of utilizing them.
