The coworkers are amazing and some of the brightest minds I ever met. It is a privilege and a great honor to work with them. The health insurance is pretty good!
Cons
The shift in culture and company values over the last 2 to 3 years is a result of poor management-level hires. This has unfortunately contributed to the current hostile work environment for non-managerial roles. Current management is not open to what made this company great such as innovation and collaboration. Any feedback to improve matters is considered hostile despite the claims by the company and management that feedback is welcomed. The current discontent within the company from nonmanagerial roles is heavily censored. The current environment is filled with: -Decisions that are not well thought out and lack common sense. -Political infighting. - Lack of responsibility for poorly made calls by management and leadership. -Outsourcing of key and irreplaceable talent to save money. -More work than humanly possible to take on while still held to the expectation to complete the work according to arbitrary deadlines that have no planning behind them. -Hardware that is aging -The siloing of roles leads to declining opportunities for tenured staff yet still somehow required to perform in multiple roles other than the one hired for. -Artificial levels in the current roles. Employees perform at much higher roles than they are currently assigned.
