Working for the Community Development Department is a fast paced environment with nice, friendly, helpful co-workers and a mix of mostly wonderful and a few terrible customers. Lower level managers are awesome.

The Board of Supervisors does not tend to make decisions based on the suggestions of the more experienced managers and supervisors. Instead they choose to entertain their own ideas and interests and sometimes create problems for otherwise happy employees and successful business practices.
