Pros

- salaried position - don’t have to hustle for clients and it takes the financial stress out of therapy - care coordination team handles all the billing and insurance stuff so you can focus more on the client and therapy - your opinions are solicited and they measure your satisfaction as a clinician - some of the warmest, smartest, kindest therapists to work with as colleagues - weekly case consultation meeting - opportunities for growth

Cons

- they’re a startup so it’s clear they’re still figuring things out. For the most part, as a clinician it doesn’t affect your day-to-day much.

Pros

Responsive, supportive managers/direct report; intentional training; Flexible scheduling

Cons

Pay structure change plus very slow client referrals the past 6+ months have resulted in significant negative financial impact. Emphasis on positives is disproportionate and doesn't accurately reflect reality. (See advice for management). Currently gearing up for new workflows, and there added responsibility: It appears that clinicians will be doing some work that 2 teams (one clinical, one administrative) have previously managed.
