Pros
Everyone at HQ, individually, cares deeply about our clinicians' and clients' experience. Strong, top down commitment to DEIB. Many leaders are compassionate and understanding. Really smart people. Very mission-driven culture. Lots of opportunity for remote work. I'm confident that the company is set up to succeed and have sustainable growth/scale.
Cons
Culture is driven on a team-by-team basis - if your executive or other senior leader has strong boundaries and clear priorities, that trickles down across the team. Unfortunately, the inverse is also true, which leads to burnout on certain teams. The culture around work-life balance, team bonding, and transparency has shifted over time, and the company feels much more opaque as it's gotten bigger. It's lost its flat-feeling structure, which is to be expected with the level of growth the company is attaining, but is nevertheless difficult to accept for someone that's been at the company some years, and has seen LT drift further and further away.
