Pros

This place was great when I started a few years ago. Pros include the tech support, software, and supportive managers.

Cons

Working here now feels like a bait and switch. Now that the company is growing fast, suddenly we are expected to work hours that are “more popular” I.e. more back to back sessions. In addition to this, we are now expected to provide care in a shorter time span, similar to other tech mental health companies. All of this without consideration of how this impacts the clinicians. There is no sick time, or 401k match. PTO is low. Pay is also mid to low range for CA.

Responsive, supportive managers/direct report; intentional training; Flexible scheduling

Cons

Pay structure change plus very slow client referrals the past 6+ months have resulted in significant negative financial impact. Emphasis on positives is disproportionate and doesn't accurately reflect reality. (See advice for management). Currently gearing up for new workflows, and there added responsibility: It appears that clinicians will be doing some work that 2 teams (one clinical, one administrative) have previously managed.
