Pros

PROS: The people you work with are generally great. You get to touch a lot of projects and get experience. This is a good resume builder, although that might be all it is.

Cons

Salaries are terrible. They tend to hire young grads for this reason. Raises are hard to come by unless you've been with them for maybe 3-5 years minimum, there is hardly ever room for growth, personal/professional development is never discussed, they expect you to work 60-80+ hours a week on very low salaries and no overtime or bonuses. They breed a culture of fear (fear of being the first to leave the office, fear to ask for time off, fear of not showing up to every single event, fear to eat outside, fear to take an actual lunch break, fear to disagree, the list goes on.) They tend to move people’s roles around wildly with no notice nor raise to match new & different role. It is generally a toxic work environment. There is a senior director who refers to people as 'cancers' to the organization in open conversations, which is highly concerning from every standpoint. They tend to run this organization in a very 'unique', 'counter-culture' way but truthfully, this modality just assists those in at the top to retain an obscure amount of control without any standardized matrix for typical things honest, transparent companies usually provide for their employees. I caution all to think heavily before accepting a full-time role here. Employees are at the bottom of the list of things they care about. A friend once described this work experience as a cult. I can't say I disagree.
