I wanted to leave a positive review as overall my time working for UMA was great .... but at this time I cannot. I am actually quite livid. I worked my butt off day in and day out for UMA and its mission, I was a top performer and really dedicated to my job and helping my students. I gave my all but now i feel used. Due to circumstances out of the realm of my control i recently had to resign from my position .... I worked a week longer than i reakly needed to to help wirh my transition. Obviously, for my time ahd work i expected to be properly compensated. The check i received after having alreadt left my position was EXTREMELY short and my hours werent logged correctly. ... Mostly due to the faxt that i was not there to dispute. It feels as though since im not working there what happens with my compensation does not matter. Youtake advantage of my dedication and dont pay me for it?!You claim to truly care about your people/employees but only when it benefits you, right? Im extremely disappointed in UMA. I WILL be speaking to HR to rectify this and if it is not handled accordingly i will ensure this is escalated.
