Pros

Work from home Okay wage

Cons

Deceptive recruiting, the job is not at all what the recruiter describes. Extreme micromanagement. Insufficient training, you are not trained on any of the actual job duties or criteria. Unprofessional management, managers will back each other up on yelling at employees. Inconsistent management, you don’t have a direct report, and are expected to communicate FOR the “team” of 3+ managers for one team. None of them are on the same page. Inconsistent expectations, each manager will contradict whatever the other “team” manager just told you to do. Threat of being fired in every conversation, regardless of how well you are doing. This place does not celebrate or acknowledge any successes. When meeting or even succeeding all stats and quotas management continues to drill into that you are easily replaceable.

Pros

Overtime available, when need it

Cons

The work environment was highly scripted, making it difficult to build genuine rapport with prospective students. Employees were expected to follow approved scripts very closely, and even small deviations could be treated as compliance issues. At the same time, compliance expectations were not always clearly communicated, which created unnecessary stress. Management felt overly focused on micromanagement, contributing to a high-pressure work environment. During my time there, I also heard a prospective student comment on what they perceived as a lack of diversity within the organization, which stood out to me. Overall, I found the culture stressful and inflexible. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this employer to those looking for a supportive workplace with clear expectations and the flexibility to communicate authentically.
