Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you value the remote flexibility and the autonomy that comes with your role. At UMA, we strive to create an environment where our team members feel supported while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and graduates. We recognize that roles in student support can come with expectations and goals designed to ensure student success. We are continuously working to balance these expectations with the well-being of our team members and appreciate insights that help us refine our approach. Our mission is rooted in helping students and graduates succeed in their careers, and we couldn’t do that without dedicated professionals like you. We encourage open discussions with leadership to ensure that expectations and goals are aligned with both individual and organizational success. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us evolve and enhance the employee experience. If you feel comfortable, our People and Culture team would love to hear more about your experience. Please email our team at hrcares@ultimatemedical.edu.

Pros

Overtime available, when need it

Cons

The work environment was highly scripted, making it difficult to build genuine rapport with prospective students. Employees were expected to follow approved scripts very closely, and even small deviations could be treated as compliance issues. At the same time, compliance expectations were not always clearly communicated, which created unnecessary stress. Management felt overly focused on micromanagement, contributing to a high-pressure work environment. During my time there, I also heard a prospective student comment on what they perceived as a lack of diversity within the organization, which stood out to me. Overall, I found the culture stressful and inflexible. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this employer to those looking for a supportive workplace with clear expectations and the flexibility to communicate authentically.
