Management can be very strict. Expect high workloads and long hours, no matter your role, and don’t expect work-life balance to come easily. You won't be paid enough, the company structure is rigid and demanding. Definitely a workplace for those who thrive under intense structure and don’t mind a high-pressure environment. Promotions don't come to 90% of the workforce and when you do get the opportunity to be promoted, you'll have to study and do a multiple choice option test to get a £1 raise which is unheard of from any other basic retailer.
