Convinced this is a cult. This was possibly the worse experience I've ever had at a retail job. My first week I basically had to chase down the management to be trained, the girl i was shadowing was constantly running away. Instead of letting you know when you are doing something wrong managers will instead whisper passively about you and fix your mistakes after you leave. They seem to forget most employees have school and outside lives and kept us two hours after our scheduled time each day if they felt the floors weren't up to their standards.
