Pros

-30% Discount on GOOD quality clothing -Awesome people (coworkers) that you interact with -Schedule (it became more flexible and understanding of needs) -Everything that is learned = a lot of emphasis on the training I remember everything that was taught -Above average retail pay -1 hour break -Clean locker and break rooms -Organized way to get time off (everything in writing is better) -Cleanliness

Cons

-Hours or lack thereof! (dont hire new people when about 20 of your employees need hours) - Open availability on weekends including a Friday -Management (too young: lack of experience and REAL leadership) -The ONLY way you will rise in this company and if you get lucky to go to the program in Japan make sure you kiss some serious ass! -RULES: strict : dress code check in the mornings -Lack of promotions (they say you will get promoted in 3 months, right... if you kiss ass you will.. everyone else wait another 3 for you 50 cent raise and lucky if its a dollar) -Male associates using the Female associates bathroom -For retail be ready to clean a break room, use harsh cleaning chemicals and worse be ready to clean a bathroom -Fear of the Japanese ex-pacts when they visited the store

Pros

You learn a lot of the business; scheduling and payroll, labor management, how to create a daily workflow to accomplish business objectives. You're provided with detailed insights into a store's operations- it's P&L statement, total inventory and how convert key data into actionable plans. Simply put, you are challenged and will learn a lot.

Cons

Company and store experience varies greatly by store location. Unfortunately, management favoritism results in certain individuals getting better treatment and greater access to professional opportunities. Additionally, Company HR is very tepid when addressing store issues pertaining to behaviors exhibited by store management towards associates. Scheduling can be very inflexible and unaccommodating.
