Pros
Depending on the location (new york)...co-workers a good to work with...just like any other job some persons are good to work with and other are just...being themselves...i guess...so for the most part the office culture is ok...as is customary warming up to people isn't such a bad thing... at the get go...temporary part time...you typically get 3 days a week (19 - 21 hrs)...unless they're having a launch such as the recent SPRZ then they give u like just below the overtime mark...leadership differs from person to person...some come at you and order you to do this n do this while other will come at you and even offer to help if you are falling behind. Time management is important...which would tie in with 'sense of urgency'....always wear a watch...for the most part staff is somewhat friendly...if you rub them right...
Cons
Definitely expected to smile all the time...as long as the doors are open and customers are on the floor....even when your head is down and your folding clothes...Hour lunch breaks without pay of course...very strict atmosphere...not even a glance at your phone...except for management...some members of management such as supervisors will try to belittle...not cool...a guy got fired in his 1st week...they basically send persons home left right and centre...so be on your p's n q's...thats why they are always hiring...training kills...like a bullet to the head...time off policies you need to put in ur request and then be approved...a week or 2 in advance is sufficient...perks 30 per discount on merchandise including sale and excluding special promotion...
