Pros

great co-workers, nice environment, fast paced, good discount, you'll learn a lot, opportunity to move up every 3 months.

Cons

too strict, can't talk nor breathe unless your told too, wearing all black, no shorts in the summer even considering your in all black. everyone who is a assistant manager , supervisor and so on are all young and lazy. you will only get promoted based upon whose butt you kiss. you have to look, walk, breathe, talk, even point the "Uniqlo" way if not you will be given feedback by some young and dumb manager who is never on the floor. you will literally feel like a slave you stand for 8+ hours with the exception of a hour break, you can't do anything like talking or even stand too close to another associate you will be given feedback. Anyone who says they love working there is a liar. the pay is poor you won't feel like all the work you are doing is paid off because they tax like crazy. you won't be able to work nomore than 30 hours a week and you can get as little as 8 hours a week if they want. long hours, your shifts will take up your whole day an opening shift is from 7am-4pm which isn't bad but being up that early, when your home all you will want to do is sleep. the next shifts are from 10-7 11-8 12-9 2-11 and 3-12 on Thursday and Sundays and overnight shifts are from 11pm-8am. If you go to school be prepared to have to get off work at 11pm or 12am which are the closing shifts which u will be only able to work so you'll be pretty drained going to school the next morning. you can't work with any relatives or if they find out you have a boyfriend or girlfriend in the same dept you will be split into another dept. it is a lot of drama that goes on there from stripper employees to managers on a dating site. your even controlled on who you can talk to and sit with on a friendly basis according to certain managers, such as an supervisor can only sit with other supervisors and so on. you will feel really trapped finding another job it's kid of like a curse.

Pros

You learn a lot of the business; scheduling and payroll, labor management, how to create a daily workflow to accomplish business objectives. You're provided with detailed insights into a store's operations- it's P&L statement, total inventory and how convert key data into actionable plans. Simply put, you are challenged and will learn a lot.

Cons

Company and store experience varies greatly by store location. Unfortunately, management favoritism results in certain individuals getting better treatment and greater access to professional opportunities. Additionally, Company HR is very tepid when addressing store issues pertaining to behaviors exhibited by store management towards associates. Scheduling can be very inflexible and unaccommodating.
