Pros

The only great thing here are the co workers, because in the end we are all in the same boat with all of the hardships from working here. We all did really end up like a family even though we have our little cliqs here and there. It is a great place to work compared to some places I have worked previously.

Cons

The management is poorly chosen in exception to a very few handful of SIT and management who actually do their job on time and get it done. While some others would look at what's wrong then delegate the problem, the problem in which thats what their main position is their to solve, to an associate who probably does not know what he or she is doing and then the associate gets "a talking to" for getting it wrong. The scheduling is just a complete mess for the time I have been working here I have seen co workers have being scheduled outside of their availability, which was clearly stated on their availability sheets, and along with that we all have suffered that random schedule change a day or two after it was supposed to be finalized, which really affects our own personal weekly work schedule. They often do play favorites to certain employees which means the other employees would have less opportunities to work in the field that they signed up for. In addition to that a good majority of us are working with things that we did not sign up to do, its ridiculous, we are unable to play by our natural strengths here to make work more efficient.

Pros

You learn a lot of the business; scheduling and payroll, labor management, how to create a daily workflow to accomplish business objectives. You're provided with detailed insights into a store's operations- it's P&L statement, total inventory and how convert key data into actionable plans. Simply put, you are challenged and will learn a lot.

Cons

Company and store experience varies greatly by store location. Unfortunately, management favoritism results in certain individuals getting better treatment and greater access to professional opportunities. Additionally, Company HR is very tepid when addressing store issues pertaining to behaviors exhibited by store management towards associates. Scheduling can be very inflexible and unaccommodating.
