Pros

Didn't find any pros. Many benefits/perks lackluster compared to the rest of the retail world.

Cons

Really standardized company... Basically strip you of your personality. Rules I remembered: -they tell you have to smile. Rather than being a company full of culture and letting things come naturally, they're FORCING you to smile. -having to wear all black. - have to takes notes every time a "superior" is talking. They gave you little notebooks so you can write down every word. One time someone found a notebook with drawings in it and they got upset about it and told everyone. -take TESTS. Sorry I thought this was a job, not school? Yes, tests where you get graded. Other tests such as: being able to "body fold" a certain number of shirts in 90 seconds. Memorizing the "6 standard phrases" and having to recite then every morning as you line up in straight lines. Ranking your clothes piles (ie "A-rank, B-rank, C-rank, D-rank, F-rank) -basically being treated like a child. So many people left after realizing how ridiculous it was. Also inflexible with scheduling and also crazy overnight shifts.

Pros

You learn a lot of the business; scheduling and payroll, labor management, how to create a daily workflow to accomplish business objectives. You're provided with detailed insights into a store's operations- it's P&L statement, total inventory and how convert key data into actionable plans. Simply put, you are challenged and will learn a lot.

Cons

Company and store experience varies greatly by store location. Unfortunately, management favoritism results in certain individuals getting better treatment and greater access to professional opportunities. Additionally, Company HR is very tepid when addressing store issues pertaining to behaviors exhibited by store management towards associates. Scheduling can be very inflexible and unaccommodating.
