Pros

I actually stopped working there in 2014, but it wouldn't let me select that. It was really nice to work in a direct care role as my first job out of college.

Cons

Understaffed and overworked. Work/life balance was discussed but it was not really feasible for most of the staff at Leland House at the time. As a youth counselor you could never have the same day off ever week. So you essentially could not commit to be at anything every week, so healthy habits and personal community was really hard to come by. We would have to work 64 hours in one week and 16 in the next week.
