Pros

Really good benefits and retirement plan 401k, stock shares are tremendous, they will train you with their pump division team and power and Hvac I’m not sure with general tools and trench because I was not working on their side, but good company to work for if your not weak and lazy

Cons

Tasks are always given make sure you know your line of work. working hard will challenge you for more and more tasks to test your knowledge and work ethic. Employees are very competitive with each other so stay in your line and work very hard

Pros

For the most part, United Rentals is a great company to work for. They care about their employees & promote growth from within.

Cons

The RELIABLE ONSITE SERVICES division is a total and complete DISGRACE to United Rentals name due to the Management team. Over worked and under-paid. Drivers should never come close to exceeding their DOT hours. Service trucks continuously break down, sometimes for weeks at a time. Promises are made by management but are not carried out. The way routes are dispatched is completely not efficient nor achievable. Employee's are moved in to the wrong positions.
