Pros

Ability to change title/position and grow within the company Skill development opportunities Safety training protocols A lot of overtime opportunities

Cons

Sometimes they push the new guys to do the heavy lifting, dirty work, and are very pushy when it come to putting in overtime(which for some people could be a pro) (not recommended for full time college students)

Pros

For the most part, United Rentals is a great company to work for. They care about their employees & promote growth from within.

Cons

The RELIABLE ONSITE SERVICES division is a total and complete DISGRACE to United Rentals name due to the Management team. Over worked and under-paid. Drivers should never come close to exceeding their DOT hours. Service trucks continuously break down, sometimes for weeks at a time. Promises are made by management but are not carried out. The way routes are dispatched is completely not efficient nor achievable. Employee's are moved in to the wrong positions.
