Pros

The company legitimately believes in doing good, which is extremely uncommon and refreshing. The people at Unity are talented, personable and truly passionate about what they do; it is both empowering and inspiring to be surrounded by such remarkable individuals. Communicating with coworkers is delightfully easy regardless of their work experience or job title. Finally, there is generally a lot going on at Unity, with many opportunities to travel to various events and build meaningful connections with people from all over the globe.

Cons

The onboarding experience can be a little overwhelming, although this is slowly getting addressed. Sometimes it is challenging to get a big picture view of the company, although this is understandable due to the complex interconnection of the different teams within the organisation. Also, given how Unity has several large offices across multiple continents, collaborations can be tricky due to time zone differences.

Pros

Strong visibility across multiple internal business units (Sales, TAM, Product, Finance). Excellent place to sharpen your skills as a cross-functional "translator" because the data demands are constant and highly visible.

Cons

The organization suffers from significant corporate governance issues. There is a palpable operational bias and favoritism toward specific global offices (specifically Israel / Middle East leadership pipelines), resulting in a massive imbalance in how decisions are made, resources are allocated, and credit is given. Furthermore, psychological safety is practically non-existent in certain divisions; toxic management behavior, including professional bullying and systemic harassment, goes completely unchecked by HR, creating an incredibly stressful and exclusionary workplace.
