Pros

Competitive salary Great managers in the DOTS and External Productions org Very flexible wellness plan 100% coverage for mental health with one medical benefits option Encourages internal mobility Executive level management feels more accessible Feels like there is a lot of potential for improvement, opportunities to contribute

Cons

Serious issues with the diversity and inclusion team, in the last year that entire team of people has left the company or moved to other teams within the company, currently there are 2 D&I team members, both new Seemingly endless reorgs that are extremely disruptive Culture of the company has dramatically shifted away from prioritizing games A member of executive leadership was explicitly dismissive of console game production generally, while teams at Unity are actively working on that type of game with partners Company seems more focused on long term growth as opposed to ensuring the products it makes are to quality Painful hiring shortages, getting headcount is like pulling teeth Executive leadership is out of touch with marginalized employees to the point where they have been offensive and actively harmful in some cases No tuition reimbursement plan Contracts with the US military, oil and gas companies Executive leadership pretends to offer transparency, but does not take the issues that employees have seriously

Pros

Strong visibility across multiple internal business units (Sales, TAM, Product, Finance). Excellent place to sharpen your skills as a cross-functional "translator" because the data demands are constant and highly visible.

Cons

The organization suffers from significant corporate governance issues. There is a palpable operational bias and favoritism toward specific global offices (specifically Israel / Middle East leadership pipelines), resulting in a massive imbalance in how decisions are made, resources are allocated, and credit is given. Furthermore, psychological safety is practically non-existent in certain divisions; toxic management behavior, including professional bullying and systemic harassment, goes completely unchecked by HR, creating an incredibly stressful and exclusionary workplace.
