Pros

When you begin a new job, the first days are always a bit complicated and you can feel lost, especially in a fully remote environment. Unity however has managed to nailed the onboarding process, everything is smooth, they want you to interact with other employees to make sure that you feel well in your new position. During the interview process, there was an entire round dedicated to the "culture fit" at this time, I wondered why it was necessary but now I understand : all the people I've met are so kind, it's clear that Unity tries to hire bright people but first of all great people. And it works ! I'm still new here, but the work sounds exciting and the benefits are great.

Cons

As a fully decentralized company that grew so much in the past few years, some of the services didn't scale fast enough. My work computer hadn't arrived on time and while the IT people are doing there best, it's not ideal.

Pros

Strong visibility across multiple internal business units (Sales, TAM, Product, Finance). Excellent place to sharpen your skills as a cross-functional "translator" because the data demands are constant and highly visible.

Cons

The organization suffers from significant corporate governance issues. There is a palpable operational bias and favoritism toward specific global offices (specifically Israel / Middle East leadership pipelines), resulting in a massive imbalance in how decisions are made, resources are allocated, and credit is given. Furthermore, psychological safety is practically non-existent in certain divisions; toxic management behavior, including professional bullying and systemic harassment, goes completely unchecked by HR, creating an incredibly stressful and exclusionary workplace.
