Pros
Beautiful campus. Dog friendly. Discounts up to 40% on all brands. Great cafeteria. Relaxed dress code. Easy parking (as long as you arrive semi-early).
Cons
The initial charm wears off rather quickly. Simply, it's not an easy place to do your job and once the appeal of the "perks" wear off, it actually becomes a difficult place to work (thus the lower rating). Leaders have no direction and provide zero coaching. Paranoid management. Have to guess as to whether or not you're actually performing well - and don't expect a promotion, even if you are. Roles are intentionally undervalued with the assumption that the "perks" make up for it. Don't fall for it - try to get the best offer. Discounts are great but unless you are 19 and like Urban Outfitters clothes, it's useless for men. Extremely clique-y; insane amounts of gossip permeate throughout the campus as if it were a large high school. If you are single, young, living in Philly with a dog and car, OK with not advancing and just need an enjoyable job to pay the bills, URBN is perfect. But once you're ready to be an adult, you'll realize it's a detrimental place for your career.
