Pros
If you work hard and intelligently in this company, you can advance fast. Management will work with you and are quick to recognize you for good work/good selling. Selling is your top priority here, and if you are successful at that you don't have to worry about doing things by the book all the time, which is so important in this line of work in my opinion. The start out pay is not bad (depending on your region) and the benefits are pretty good. This job is great for anyone willing to work hard and prove themselves.
Cons
Very hard work. Very early hours most of the time. Your days off are rarely if ever back to back so say goodbye to hanging out with friends in the evening or having a life cuz a lot of times you need to be up as early as 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning and proceed to work a twelve hour day. There are so many things you are responsible for its difficult to always stay on top of it all. And then the worse part of the job in my opinion is dealing with the rude, impatient, and oftentimes hostile managers and receivers in your accounts. They're not all bad but it only takes one to ruin this job. If you're not good at winning uncool people over, then this might not be the job for you. Also, if you're in management, particularly entry level, prepare to give up some of your income and take on way more work and pick up all the slack of people who don't do their jobs, as firing bad workers is next to impossible.
