Public Company =/= Family Company Anymore - Anonymous employee Utz Quality Foods Employee Review

Since going public the company has lost its culture. Managers are more results driven than ever and are out of touch with the personal and family side that the company was famous for. Almost all sectors of the company have hired from outside. New management and directors that are geared towards results and forget everyone else. Old guard is then being let go and all the new management hires their buddies from previous positions effectively phasing out the culture and personnel that built it. Pay is pretty bad and chances for advancement are few and far between unless you work in sales.
