Pros
1. Learning Environment - Always learning new things even outside of your department. 2. Leadership in my department are fair, understanding, helpful, and are available to listen to you even if it does not pertain to work. 3. The benefits are the best I've had. 4. You can move up the career ladder, start off at a tech I and move up to a tech III. 5. Work stays at work. I do not bring anything home with me. 6. Then best one of all, you get yourself fired here. You get so many chances unless it's a major screw up.
Cons
The pay does suck but benefits help. Team members (Not all but a select few) complain about the smallest bs. They expect to do whatever they want to do and expect no consequences to their actions. The department did go through a merger; however, it has been the smoothest and best organized merger I have been through.
