Management in shared services groups and NSE is very poor but management is good in the OSP group. Shared services and NSE management is constantly changing. Re-orgs are very frequent. Layoffs and site closures are a constant threat so employees should stay prepared for being laid off by keeping their resume up to date at all times and staying connected with people outside the company. It's hard to get anything done. Operational efficiency is talked about but doesn't improve. Work/life balance gets a lot of hot air but reality is employees don't take time off.
