Pros

Field staff compassionate , caring professionals. Office staff works hard to make the enviornment friendly and are great support to managers and field staff.

Cons

Senior management changes have led way to favoritism in hiring ang little respect for employees who have spent years with the company. PTO reduced to make it “fair”for all employees. Long term employees included in PTO reduction, proving new corporate leaders have no respect for employees with many years with the company. Team manager turnover is frequent due to long hours, poor training and obvious favoritism. If staff can’t assimilate into the new “family”enviornment , then their days are numbered. Spent years with what was 5 star company and watched it decline to 2-3 Star Lots of favoritism ove4 the past 2 years, seasoned employees with years hospice experience passed over for no apparent good reason . Stressful enviornment, too many changes constantly happening with little or no consideration for time needed to properly train staff regarding new expectations. Pay not competitive and few increases given to employees with long time tenure with company. Salaried here means there is no limit to hours in your work week. Changing enviornment, was mom and pop business, valued employees, now just a business, the bottom line rules.

Pros

Very friendly and helpful colleagues. I came to this company with very little experience and all of my colleagues helped and educated me with all things hospice care. I got promoted 4 months after being hired as a clerk into a secretary job. Best job I've ever have.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Great organization structure. significant opportunity to growth for lateral and/or vertical transition. Great compensation for all disciplines if done right, a great work life balance

Cons

Initial hiring, orientation is relatively slow may be even boring process. organization values people too much and believes in helping growth of individual so much so that some time slackers are able to survive longer then they should. which can cause loss of motivation for highly driven team members. the way I would survive if I am motivated for the cause is do what is right for you and your patients, apart from that just wait for the right time. Biggest pain point is EMR. this organization is slow to the game but the organization is building and perfecting home built EMR product to have maximum flexibility. currently going through growing pains.
