Pros

Supportive, knowledgeable co-workers. The Director of HR, Catrice is amazing to work for. The lead recruiter helps to keep the group together and provides guidance. This is important because ALL of the other recruiters are working temp to perm. Pay is good.

Cons

There is a huge turnover in Talent Acquisition because the CHRO Diane creates a toxic work environment. Four recruiters have left in the past month and most of the current recruiters are actively looking for jobs and plan to resign as soon as they receive other offers. The company has no COVID policy in place and the CHRO insists that employees come to work even when they are experiencing COVID symptoms. She refused to let employees work from home even when there was a COVID outbreak in the office. As a result, employees were forced to decide whether to come into the office and risk their good health or whether to stay home and risk losing the money needed to support themselves and their families! When an employee tested positive for COVID, management lied and said a deep cleaning was performed when it was not. This company is not a safe place to work! CHRO does not appreciate recruiters and has unreasonable expectations. She is never happy even when recruiters work 16 hour days on a regular basis. There is no work-life balance here! CEO seems to have no idea that there is even a problem.

A very independent role, great Work-Life balance, a great way to learn the “why” behind policies, procedures, etc.

Cons

100% online training only. Lack of in-house support for specific role.

Pros

Being able to build relationships with my patients and relieve the patients and family members of the difficulties with going through end of life care.

Cons

Poor pay management between new and current staff. Unwanted overtime. Not getting reimbursed for time spent on the road before and after shifts. It is possible to be gone from your house for 12 hours and only be payed for your 8 hour shift. Milegage starts after your first visit and ends at your last visit. You will not be payed for the start of your day or for the end of the day. You only get two holidays off and you are required to pay your holiday out of what little PTO you earn. There is no encouragement to stay long term. Seniority does not benefit you in any way. Little to no useful training. You will not be trained on how to use the equipment your patients may need. There is a ridiculous amount of management for what little field staff there is. They will say that you will cover a specific territory, then be expected to cover outside of that territory. You will not have a set end time of your day. Your end of shift relief may take up to 1 hour to be able to get to you. You are often unable to commitments on shift days. Company will often make promises that are not able to be met by field staff.
