Pros
Rewarding in knowing you made a difference in another persons life. Some nice staff who really want to give quality care. The company provides a range of support disciplines for patient care. Provided lunch at the IDT meetings.
Cons
Management not supportive, they expect nurses to put themselves in harms way all hours and in horrible areas. If you ask for support "they are not going to pay for 2 persons/escort" Focus of the meetings are on increasing numbers/competition of other hospices. Disorganized education/QA process, the documentation system/care plans not user friendly.
