I have had an amazing experience working at VITAS. I started as a CNA out in the field, and within a year, I applied and was promoted to Patient Care Secretary. A year after that, I moved to the Medical Records department. What I love most about VITAS is that they prioritize internal candidates for open positions and are always ready to promote good employees.
The leadership here is exceptional, especially our General Manager, Eric Dengler. He makes employees feel valued and truly cares about his team. When employees first join he made sure they feel welcomed by welcoming them with flowers, bunt cakes and providing VITAS gear, and even hosting a welcome lunch with the office staff. It is such a thoughtful gesture that sets the tone for everyone's positive experience here.
The camaraderie at VITAS is remarkable. The team genuinely cares for one another, and it’s a supportive environment to work in. If you’re looking for a company that invests in its employees, encourages growth, and fosters a caring work culture, VITAS is the place to be! I have even recommended and brought onboard several people here because it is such a great company.
