Pros

Helpful fellow co-workers Field nurses do really love their job

Cons

1. They make us use our paid time off whenever census is low. Our PTO is combined with our sick time so if we ran out of PTO, we can't afford to be sick. 2. As of now february 2016, some of us have already used at least 30 hours of forced PTO for this year alone. If they really care about their staff, they wouldn't do it because these staff have families to feed and bills to pay. 3. Loyalty to this company is not rewarded because they treat you the same as new hires. 4.No pay raise for 3 years and when they did, they only gave .30cents increase in hourly rate. 5. Employee safety when being sent to different kinds of neighborhood is lacking.

Pros

Very friendly and helpful colleagues. I came to this company with very little experience and all of my colleagues helped and educated me with all things hospice care. I got promoted 4 months after being hired as a clerk into a secretary job. Best job I've ever have.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Great organization structure. significant opportunity to growth for lateral and/or vertical transition. Great compensation for all disciplines if done right, a great work life balance

Cons

Initial hiring, orientation is relatively slow may be even boring process. organization values people too much and believes in helping growth of individual so much so that some time slackers are able to survive longer then they should. which can cause loss of motivation for highly driven team members. the way I would survive if I am motivated for the cause is do what is right for you and your patients, apart from that just wait for the right time. Biggest pain point is EMR. this organization is slow to the game but the organization is building and perfecting home built EMR product to have maximum flexibility. currently going through growing pains.
