Great place to work if you don't mind getting yelled at a little - Players Club Representative Valley View Casino Employee Review

Pros

Great employee perks. Positive atmosphere. Free food everyday via an employee buffet. The team you work with makes it all worth it and you really feel like you're a part of something.

Cons

Working as a players club representative the initiatives they ask you to move forward with are often confusing to clients & short lived creating the appearance that the rules are always changing and management doesn't have a firm grasp of the direction they want to go. This makes the players frustrated and contributed to you getting yelled at by unhappy patrons. Also there's not very much opportunity to move up unless you're tribal which is a little discouraging.

Pros

Lots of investment in the employees. VVC provides leadership training. GM has provided a top-down positive culture. Physical Security is run well. IT has good folks. They provide a meal to employees. The HR orientation was run extremely well. Employees tend to stay at VVC for years signaling strong job satisfaction. Will try to provide an update yearly. Overall a strong sense of pride and gratitude to be here.

Cons

The buffet is only for card holders which causes some heart burn with customers who are not members and did not know of the rule.
