Pros

It's nice to get a free paid lunch and a good health benefits package. It's easy to get to know co workers as management leaves you alone for hours on end.

Cons

Where do I begin. This place really misses the mark when it means providing a good work environment. I've worked here for a while now and I can say that department upper management is a joke. Bosses are only in it for themselves, don't care to learn the job they oversee, and promotions are rarely based on performance, instead nepotism and favoritism is the rule of the land. How a person can get hired with no previous experience and promoted less than 2 months after is beyond me.

Pros

Lots of investment in the employees. VVC provides leadership training. GM has provided a top-down positive culture. Physical Security is run well. IT has good folks. They provide a meal to employees. The HR orientation was run extremely well. Employees tend to stay at VVC for years signaling strong job satisfaction. Will try to provide an update yearly. Overall a strong sense of pride and gratitude to be here.

Cons

The buffet is only for card holders which causes some heart burn with customers who are not members and did not know of the rule.
