Pros

I would love to share some pros given a chance to work here.

Cons

I was selected for during campus placements in 2022 for the role of associate software developer and I was ecstatic to receive a call letter from Valtech with a joining date of August 1st, 2023 immediately. It felt like a dream come true. However, my excitement turned to disappointment when, in June 2023, Valtech sent me an email stating that they have postponed my job offer to August 5th, 2024. And very recently, I get this mail saying my offer is postponed indefinitely. This sudden and unexpected change has left me and several other candidates who were eagerly waiting to start our professional journeys in a difficult position. The placement season in our college is now over, and unfortunately, no companies are visiting for further recruitment. The lack of communication and transparency from Valtech has been disheartening, to say the least. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise in the corporate world, but the way they have handled this situation feels like we've been ghosted. As young professionals, we put our trust in companies like Valtech to provide us with opportunities and a stable future. This delay has caused many of us to be jobless, uncertain about our career paths, and facing financial challenges.

Pros

Great work environment. Real commitment to diversity that goes beyond the surface level.

Cons

Thin spread of employees that results in a lot of work on each contributor individually.

Pros

Great well known clients & interesting projects.

Cons

There are no growth opportunities; people managers don't know how to lead; there are layoffs every 2 months for the past 18 months; there is no training (employees are told to learn on their own time / weekends) because if they are not >50% chargeable, they are on the RIF list. The company grew through acquisitions but never integrated or unified the various companies. There are no standard processes, everything is ad hoc. There were no raises this year and no bonuses either of the last 2 years.
