Pros

The people that are good and working here are waiting to get fired If you like empty promises this is your place

Cons

Currently, Kin & Carta in Argentina is just a shadow of what it once was. Layoffs are constant, projects are empty and directionless, and the sales team is non-existent. There haven't been any new projects for months, and the existing ones are ending, leaving many without work. The operation in Argentina leaves much to be desired. The management team doesn't make any decisions; everything must be consulted externally, and any attempt to take action is quickly shut down. Payments in the region are a joke; recently, they proposed a 7.5% increase, the first in years, despite ongoing inflation, even when being paid in dollars. This is a joke as we got low salaries, 7.5 doesnt even cover for any of the inflation that affected us. There is only one benefit from "Pedidos Ya" many others were promised but never delivered. The company is now based on empty promises, assuring improvements that never occur. We were acquired by another company, and months after the announcement, we still have no idea what will happen. There is a crisis in the company, but everyone acts as if nothing is happening. Salaries are extremely low, and everyone is fleeing due to the non-existent management and the indifferent attitude of the higher-ups. Those who should take action simply pass the requests along and do nothing, while others talk about "equality, happiness, and a better world" but say they don't care if we resign, treating us only as numbers. In summary, I do not recommend this company at all. I don't believe things will change, as the few good people left are leaving due to the insulting salaries they offer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. Kin + Carta was just acquired, and while our company will evolve, what won’t change is our commitment to ensuring that compensation and benefits are fair and reflective of the local market practices in all of the places we do business. This work is so important to me, my team, and our company at-large. As you are a current employee, I would value the opportunity to personally connect to better understand your experience. Often these conversations are more productive and lead to change which improves our workplace. Please reach out to me directly and we can find a convenient time to chat. - Head of People

Pros

Great work environment. Real commitment to diversity that goes beyond the surface level.

Cons

Thin spread of employees that results in a lot of work on each contributor individually.

Pros

Great well known clients & interesting projects.

Cons

There are no growth opportunities; people managers don't know how to lead; there are layoffs every 2 months for the past 18 months; there is no training (employees are told to learn on their own time / weekends) because if they are not >50% chargeable, they are on the RIF list. The company grew through acquisitions but never integrated or unified the various companies. There are no standard processes, everything is ad hoc. There were no raises this year and no bonuses either of the last 2 years.
