Pros

• Innovative Projects: As a designer at Valtech, I had the chance to work on cutting-edge digital projects for big-name clients. It was thrilling to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of user experience and technology. • Collaborative Culture: The people here are fantastic! The design team is incredibly supportive and collaborative. You’re constantly learning from talented individuals across various departments. • Growth Opportunities: There’s room for growth and mentorship if you’re proactive about seeking it. Valtech offers opportunities to advance your skills in UX/UI, product design, and other areas.

Cons

• Work-Life Balance: The workload can be heavy at times, especially around project deadlines. Late nights and weekend work can be common, which affects work-life balance. • Lack of Clear Communication: While there’s a lot of talent here, sometimes communication from upper management can be unclear, leading to confusion about project goals and priorities. • Career Progression: Although there are opportunities for growth, career progression paths aren’t always clearly defined, making it hard to know exactly how to advance.

Pros

Great work environment. Real commitment to diversity that goes beyond the surface level.

Cons

Thin spread of employees that results in a lot of work on each contributor individually.

Pros

Great well known clients & interesting projects.

Cons

There are no growth opportunities; people managers don't know how to lead; there are layoffs every 2 months for the past 18 months; there is no training (employees are told to learn on their own time / weekends) because if they are not >50% chargeable, they are on the RIF list. The company grew through acquisitions but never integrated or unified the various companies. There are no standard processes, everything is ad hoc. There were no raises this year and no bonuses either of the last 2 years.
