Pros

Work from home Benefits - flexible PTO

Cons

As a former K+C employee, I found that the acquisition by Valtech drastically altered the culture and operations—unfortunately, not for the better. Since the transition, change management has been painfully slow, with no standardized processes in place and each service line operating in silos. Frequent layoffs and inconsistent demand have fostered a pervasive sense of anxiety, made worse by a lack of visible, transparent leadership. The ongoing friction between K+C and Valtech’s ways of working—where each side believes their approach is superior—has created a constant tug-of-war. This tension has only deepened the challenges, contributing to a toxic work environment. The organization urgently needs decisive, present leadership to unite teams, streamline operations, and drive meaningful change.

Pros

Great work environment. Real commitment to diversity that goes beyond the surface level.

Cons

Thin spread of employees that results in a lot of work on each contributor individually.

Pros

Great well known clients & interesting projects.

Cons

There are no growth opportunities; people managers don't know how to lead; there are layoffs every 2 months for the past 18 months; there is no training (employees are told to learn on their own time / weekends) because if they are not >50% chargeable, they are on the RIF list. The company grew through acquisitions but never integrated or unified the various companies. There are no standard processes, everything is ad hoc. There were no raises this year and no bonuses either of the last 2 years.
